Ice Cream Sandwich Alternative

I absolutely *love* ice cream sandwiched, but they aren't very satisfying and fulfilling. Like that matters, ice cream is amazing! ;o) But sometimes it does matter. . . because you want more ice cream sandwiches. BUT I found a GREAT alternative, except no ice cream, sorry! They are still really good though. :) I don't have an official recipe, I just kind of messed around to figure out how to make them. (I saw a picture of them, but there was no recipe. I did not just come up with them out of nowhere).

Take however many bananas you want (depends on how many you want to make)
Peanut Butter
 Graham Crackers

Peel the bananas and mash them in a bowl. Once they are completely mashed, add as much peanut butter as you prefer. . . I usually do a couple big spoonfuls. It depends on how you want it to taste. Once they are mixed together with no big chunks of peanut butter, then use a knife to put a pretty generous amount on each cracker. Then place another cracker on top. Do this until finished. Freeze.

I found this idea off of pinterest. ^^ This is the picture from pinterest, too. :o) Enjoy.

Time Sure Flys By.

Well, hello to whoever reads this, although I don't have many viewers just yet. I always think about blogging, but I never get to the sitting down at my desk, logging onto blogger, and taking the time to write a post part. Yet, here I am. . . on this very beautiful day. It is quite a nice day here today, much enjoyed after many cold, snowy, wintry days. I haven't really gotten to go outside and enjoy it though, and I'm not really planning on it. I'm sure many of you have heard of Chobani Greek yogurt. .
well I tried it for the very first time a couple days ago. I agree with this advertisement. It was "nothing but good" . . . *until* I found out that the hives I have, still at this very moment, were an allergic reaction to something in the yogurt. I did some research on the yogurt, seeing if that was truly what the reaction was to. I will tell you, I also tried this aloe vera gel on the same day, so we weren't sure which I was having the reaction to. Actually, at first I didn't even think of the Chobani yogurt. It just tasted so delicious that I wouldn't have thought it could have been the problem. But. . . after the "research" as I said above, I found that many people who are allergic to penicillin had the same problem, having some kind of allergic reaction. I am just thankful it wasn't any worse. Well that's my short tale on trying Chobani yogurt. :o) Oh, and never try two things at once because then you aren't sure which thing you are having a reaction to. I'm just thankfully the hives are neither itchy or hurting.

I'm sure you also remember reading a book review on the book The Redemption of Sarah Cain. Well, since then, I have read some more Beverly Lewis books. I read a three book series: The Shunning, The Confession, and The Reckoning. There is a movie, The Shunning, and they are making The Confession, which I am excited to see, but they just aren't as well done as the books. I always prefer the book to the movie. The whole feeling of the book just cannot be captured in a movie. You can't truly capture all of the characters feelings in a movie. I would begin to write a small summary of the three books, but there is just so much that goes on. It is such a thrilling story. I have learned a lot about the Amish just by reading these       books. More than I ever truly knew about them. I just thought they were a People that wanted to be separated from the world and the things that can distract us from God, the things that easily overtake our lives. This is true, but there is so much more than that. I never knew that they didn't believe in God's saving promises, at least the Old Order Amish in this book. It's hard to think that they don't believe that. They even tend the put the Ordnung before the Bible, so it seems. It is interesting to read about, but these books aren't all about that. It's about a girl's struggle with the Amish community and a secret her parents kept from her for many, many years. I would recommend these books to anyone, young and old. Go a journey with Katie Lapp. . . or Katherine Mayfield. :o)

When I first saw this video, I just couldn't believe it. It was so sweet, and all the pairs of people were just perfect for each other. My mom cried like I knew she would, but I loved this.
